FUNDRAISER TO PROVIDE ARTS EDUCATION FOR NEEDY KIDS
WHAT: Gibson Girl Foundation hosts its Inaugural Gala to honor Hank Lane (Hank Lane Music & Productions) and Ira Wallach (Linear Logistics) for their contributions to the performing arts. The fundraising benefit will include a special performance by Pop and Broadway Star Debbie Gibson, founder of the non-profit organization.
WHY: Gibson Girl Foundation awards scholarships and musical educational opportunities to underprivileged children who display talent and have a desire to participate in programs designed to nurture their individual skills in the performing arts. Since 2008, Gibson Girl Foundation has provided more than $75,000 in scholarships to kids in need.
